Challenge

In early 2023, NBC Securities, a full-service, national broker-dealer and investment management firm based in Birmingham, Alabama, needed to elevate their market presence through enhanced marketing materials, digital presence, and media visibility. With multiple service lines and a regional footprint across the Southeast and nationwide, they required a cohesive approach to build brand awareness and generate measurable results. With several marketing goals that spanned brand awareness, recruitment and a more institutional design approach, MBC and NBC started a partnership.

 

 

 

Strategy

Our comprehensive financial marketing partnership with NBC Securities and NBCS Asset Management included a messaging and design refresh plus ongoing planning and implementation to maintain a consistent brand presence.

After creating a firm design framework across fact sheets and firm materials, we refreshed the website homepage, built a content marketing engine, and added depth to their service line pages. The ongoing support featured development of marketing collateral, including service-specific brochures, presentation materials, social media, PR and digital assets.

We created and distributed monthly commentary on market insights to demonstrate the firm’s thought leadership across its asset allocation, equity and fixed income strategies. Our work includes video production as well as original content and design. The strategy was rounded out with measured advertising through targeted digital campaigns with comprehensive tracking, analytics and optimization.

In addition to institutionalizing the brand, MBC assisted with ongoing public relations, event participation, social media management and content marketing. The firm has widened the breadth of its brand, as well as showing increased engagement on the website. Over the first full year, the website showed a 62% increase in page views, a 72% increase in web events and a 53% increase in users. In addition, the firm showed a nice uptick in LinkedIn followers and engagement as well as significantly higher ranking across all SEO metrics.
