MBC Strategic Garners Two Gold Investment Branding and Design Awards from MarCom in 2018

Los Angeles-based financial and investment branding agency MBC Strategic recently won two MarCom awards for investment branding refresh. The recent accolades reflect marketing industry peer recognition for excellence in both marketing and branding across a variety of financial and investment services clients from mutual funds, private equity and other alternative asset managers. The MarCom Awards recognize high-quality work across small, medium, and large firms and highlight outstanding creative achievement in marketing, communications, branding, websites and print materials. Judged and administered by industry peers and influencers, The MarCom Awards are part of the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, also known as the AMCP.

Atlanta Capital – 2018 Gold Winner – Branding Refresh

MBC Strategic was awarded the MarCom Gold Award for the institutional investment brand strategy, design and refresh of Atlanta Capital, a quality focused investment and advisory firm based out of Atlanta, GA. For this investment management branding project, MBC Strategic developed a branding platform including new brand positioning, logo, colors and visual identity, which would then be executed across their website, marketing materials and sales collateral.

MBC helped tell a story that would bring together the firm’s near 50-year history, one that would support its growth moving forward. This dedication to quality is core to the message the firm’s delivers to all its stakeholders and was the inspiration for the brand refresh. Ancora – 2018 Gold Winner – Branding Refresh

Ancora is a leading wealth and investment management firm offering proprietary wealth management, alternative investment strategies, mutual funds, investment management, wealth planning and retirement plan solutions. MBC’s recommendation was to lead with a single brand of Ancora with distinct but complementary divisions. This brand architecture allows the firm to showcase its scale and breadth of offerings, lead with a single brand promise and the divisions can better facilitate cross-division growth.

MBC then updated the visual identity and style that supported the achievement-based brand promise and positioning, creating a service-oriented and solutions-focused brand across web and materials to appeal to both institutional and retail audiences. The comprehensive asset management rebrand included logo, colors, sales materials, strategy and fund fact sheets, integrated single website and coordinated launch announcement to the firm’s client base. The project provided Ancora with a framework for multi-faceted brand storytelling and the investment marketing tools needed for business development to better reach and connect with their target audiences.
